Custom Field Management
Custom fields are created and edited in Workspace Management > Custom Fields (/app/workspace/custom-fields)
The custom fields management page has a table list of all existing custom fields for the workspace.
Click the `+ New custom field` button to create a new custom field. Or click on the pencil icon in the table row to edit.

Custom Field Setup
The dropdown custom field type requires a field name as well as at least one field option. A description is optional. Other custom field types include numeric and free text.
Options can be ordered by dragging and dropping
A field can be marked as required, and Baton will validate to make sure a value is entered for all new projects once the field is in use.
Users can also manage the visibility of their custom fields.
Once created, a custom field that is visible to users will appear as a column in the Project List view, and as an option for pivoting the Board View. It’s also possible to filter projects by custom fields!
Using custom fields in a project to collect additional information
All visible custom fields are added as inputs in the New Project create form as well as the Project Details edit form.
