Zapier Integration
Updated over a week ago

Baton’s mission is the be the source of truth for implementations, and seamlessly integrating with your other systems can make sharing accurate information easier than ever. While we have native Jira and Salesforce integrations today, there are many other potential data sources and repositories you may want to sync with. Enter our new Zapier integration- where you can easily integrate Baton with hundreds of other applications using the simple, no-code Zapier platform. The Zapier Integration is available with our Accelerate & Enterprise plans. Please contact your CSM for additional information. To learn more about Zapier, click here.

Functionality

Today, Baton can interact with Zapier on the project level. New projects can be created via a Zap, or additional triggers/actions can be created relating to a Baton project's status change. For example, a Slack channel can be created when a project is created and is in Draft status, or an email can be automatically sent from Gmail when a project is paused. Setting up Zapier in your Baton Workspace

In your instance of Baton, navigate to Workplace Settings > Connected Apps. Select the Zapier tab.

When enabling a zap, Zapier will request an API key. To generate this, click "Create API Key" at the top of that page.

Scrolling down the page, you'll be prompted to log in to Zapier. Additionally, you'll see a number of suggested Zaps that other customers are using with Baton. To learn more about which other Baton templates exist, click here.
