Project Settings and Reports
Updated over a week ago

In Baton, you can edit your project's information, archive a project, add and remove stakeholders, and view project feedback from your client.

This article contains the following sections:

Project Settings

There are two ways to access a project’s settings page, using the navigation bar in your project or clicking the `Details` button when looking at `Overview` view. This can be done by clicking on the Quickview button of a project from the Kanban or List boards or clicking the `Project details` (i icon) on upper right from Project View.

Attachments

Adding attachments to your tasks can be done by clicking on link or upload an attachment or the Attachments tab in the navigation bar. You will then be prompted to create a title, paste the link, upload, and the ability to link or multiple attachments. Individual files can be uploaded up to 500MB with no limit on the amount of files that can be uploaded. These attachments can then be saved in your project template for future use. Also, you will have the option to rename, delete, copy, and change the link to any attachment by clicking the attachment menu button (3 dots to the right of any attachment).

Note: Clients will also be able to access and upload attachments

Project Details

When the Project Details open up, you’ll be able to see and edit all of the information entered when you created the project. To save any edits, click "Save Changes" at the bottom. To view or edit Client Champ, continue to the Team page by clicking "Team" on the left hand menu. If you need to archive a project, you can do it here by clicking "Archive" in the top right hand corner of the menu.

Client Logo

Clicking the

:pencil2:

will allow you to rename your client, give you the option to reassign a different client to your project, and most importantly to add your client's company logo. Reassigning a client is only available for projects that are in the queue/planning phase, this will unassign all client tasks and remove all client project users.

Note: This is an example of how your client's landing page will look.

Team Page

The Team page shows the Leads, Internal Contributors, and External (Client) contributors. You can view who has joined the project, change the hourly rates for internal team members, remove and reassign tasks, and also resend invites.

You can add a lead for your organization or your client’s. Click the + by Project team and enter the new stakeholder’s information.

In this view, you can remove team members as well. You must have at least one lead for your organization or your client. If you try to remove the last lead, you’ll be prompted to choose a replacement.

Whether you’re removing a lead or a contributor, their incomplete tasks will need to be reassigned. If they have any tasks outstanding, they will be listed and you’ll be able to assign them to other contributors, from this project or new.

Feedback

Selecting "Overview/Reports/Client Feedback" will show feedback from your client. Feedback is asked for each milestone and can only be entered once all tasks in a milestone are complete. Only the client lead can submit feedback and cannot edit it once it’s been submitted.
